Solstice Home Goods: Scaling Paid Social to 3.4× ROAS

Solstice Home Goods was spending on five social platforms with no testing rhythm. We focused the budget on two channels and rebuilt the creative pipeline, and return on ad spend rose from 1.4× to 3.4×.

Project overview

Solstice Home Goods sells ceramics, candles and table decor online and in two stores. Paid social was their main way to find new customers, but the budget was spread across five platforms and every campaign was reported on its own.

The brief: make paid social profitable and predictable, and give the team one view of what each ad is really worth.

The challenge

Spend was thin on every platform, so no channel ever got enough budget to learn what worked. New creative went live when someone had time, not on a plan, and results sat in five different dashboards.

The team could see clicks and likes, but not which ads led to purchases. That made every budget decision a guess.

Where we started
  • Budget spread over five platforms
  • No creative testing plan
  • Five separate reports

Our approach

How we worked with Solstice Home Goods

Four clear steps, from the first look at the numbers to a result the team could keep building on.

  1. Audit the spend

We mapped every campaign against orders and cut the channels that did not pay back.

  2. Focus on two channels

The budget moved to the two platforms where Solstice customers already shop.

  3. Test creative every month

A monthly calendar of new angles, each tested against a clear winner.

  4. One shared dashboard

Ad spend and orders in one report, so the team sees what each creative earns.

The results

What changed in numbers

  • 3.4×

    Return on ad spend

  • 12

Creative tests run in six months

  • 2

    Channels instead of five

What we delivered

The work behind the result

  • Paid social campaigns

Prospecting and retargeting on the two best channels.

  • Creative testing

A monthly set of new images, clips and offers, tested one at a time.

  • Revenue reporting

One dashboard that ties ad spend to orders.

  • Monthly optimisation

A review each month on what to scale, fix or stop.

For the first time we know which ad brought which order. We stopped guessing and started scaling what works.
