What is e-commerce website development?

E-commerce website development is designing and building an online store where customers can browse, pay and track their orders. We build stores on WooCommerce or Shopify with fast product pages, a short checkout, Indian payment gateways, shipping integrations and sales tracking, so you can sell and measure from day one.

Most Indian shoppers browse on a phone and expect to pay by UPI, so that’s what we design for first. We’ll help you choose between WooCommerce and Shopify based on your catalogue, your team and your budget, and we’ll explain the trade-offs before you commit.

What it covers
  • WooCommerce
  • Shopify
  • Payments
  • Shipping
  • Product pages
  • Analytics

Problems we solve

Where online stores quietly lose sales.

  • Carts abandoned at checkout

Shoppers add products, then leave at checkout because it’s slow, long or asks for too much.

  • A store that’s a pain to run

Adding products, updating stock or running a festive sale takes far longer than it should.

  • No clear sales data

You can’t see which products, channels or campaigns actually bring in the revenue.

What you get

What’s included in our E-commerce Development

  • Checkout setup

A short, simple checkout with guest checkout and clear delivery costs.

Our process

How we deliver E-commerce Development

We test the whole purchase flow, from cart to confirmation email, before a single real customer uses it.

  1. Plan the store

Products, categories, payments, shipping and integrations are agreed.

  2. Design

Store pages are designed for browsing and buying on a phone first.

  3. Build and integrate

The store, payment gateway and shipping are developed and connected.

  4. Test orders

We run test orders end to end: payment, emails, invoices and refunds.

  5. Launch and grow

We launch, switch on tracking and help you grow sales over time.

Question not listed? Ask us directly. Get in touch.

WooCommerce or Shopify: which is better for an Indian store?

Both work well. WooCommerce gives you more control and has no platform fee; Shopify is quicker to run and needs less upkeep. We recommend one based on your products, budget and team.

Can you integrate Indian payment gateways?

Yes. We integrate gateways such as Razorpay and PayU, with UPI, cards, net banking and cash on delivery where they suit your store.

Can the store generate GST invoices?

Yes. We set up tax and invoice details so every order produces a GST-ready invoice. We’d still suggest your accountant checks the settings before launch.

Can you move our existing store to a new platform?

Yes. We migrate products, customers and orders, and set up redirects so your Google rankings come with you.

Will we be able to manage products ourselves?

Yes. We train your team to add products, manage stock, run offers and process orders.

How much does an e-commerce website cost in India?

It depends on the platform, the size of the catalogue, how much custom design you want and the integrations. We quote after a discovery call, with the scope written out.
